2010 High Holiday Seats

Congregation Keter Torah

2010-5771 High Holiday seat ordering information

For discounted prices, reserve by July 26, 2010

Rosh Hashana begins this year on Wednesday evening, September 8. While we will attempt to accommodate all seating requests, reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We will have three Minyanim for Shacharit & Musaf on Rosh Hashanah and for all Yom Kippur services.

On Rosh Hashana, the small ballroom minyan will begin at 7:15am, while the Beit Knesset minyan will begin at 8:00am. Both minyanim will begin at 8:00am on Yom Kippur.

We are pleased to announce that we will also have an "I Wish I Understood Everything I Was Saying Minyan," which will take place in the Beit Midrash from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This minyan will be led by Rabbi Steven Weil, CEO of the Orthodox Union and former Rabbi of Congregation Beth Jacob in Beverly Hills, California. This service, created by Rabbi Weil, is a mainstream halachic minyan, relevant for beginners and advanced alike, where the meaning and themes of many tefilot will be explained (some yotzrot will be abridged or skipped).

When making reservations, please indicate your choice of minyan. In these challenging economic times, we ask that those able to sponsor additional seats should please check the appropriate box on your form. Payment can be made by credit card or by check payable to Congregation Keter Torah. Full payment must accompany your order, and all obligations to the shul must be paid in full or addressed before your reservations will be accepted. For special situations, contact Rabbi Baum or Howard; all matters will be dealt with confidentially.

No reservation will be considered final until you receive an e-mail or written confirmation.

Adult Seats: Members, Affiliates and Non-members
The cost for seats will be $215 for members and $300 for affiliates and non-members, for all applications returned by July 26, 2010.
To ensure proper planning of our minyanim, all reservations received on or after July 27 will be assessed an additional charge of $25 per seat.

Young Adult Seats for girls ages 9-11 and boys ages 9-12
The cost for these seats will be $100. These discounted seats are available only to member families and only until July 26.

Babysitting:
Babysitting and refreshments will be available for children ages 3-10. Please be sure to fill out the information on the form. The youngsters will be taken care of in our youth rooms. More information will follow.

Honors:
If you want or require any specific kibbudim, please indicate them on the form. Our gabbaim will do their best to accommodate your requests.
