Shimon ha-tzaddik...hayah omer: Al shlosha d'varim ha-olam omed - Al Hatorah, al ha-avodah, v'al g'milut chasadim." (Pirkei Avot)
Keter Torah serves its kehilla in these three fundamental areas: As a Bet Midrash - a space for learning Torah, as a Bet Tefilla - a space for meaningful communal prayer; and as a Bet Chesed - a space for tzedakah, outreach, community, social events and political activism.
The Adult Education Committee is a key piece of the first pillar - the learning of Torah. Through its input in the weekly Keter Torah Bet Midrash Program, the ongoing scholars-in residence programs, the annual summer kollel program, and our guest lecturer series, the Adult Education Committee seeks to facilitate the study of Torah in its broadest sense and on all levels in Keter Torah.
Torah is our link with G-d and with our people. The study of text reshapes and transforms our thought patterns and our actions. Through the study of Torah we develop a distinct Jewish understanding of the relationship with G-d, family and community. We invite you to come join with us in planning as well as partaking in the classes and learning opportunities at Keter Torah.
Come join our community.
