Youth News

Junior Congregation for children in grades 5 & 6 and pre-bar/bat mitzvah seventh graders will meet this Shabbat at 9:15am in the small ballroom.

This Shabbat between Mincha and Ma’ariv, Ari Weisbrot will speak at a Seuda Shlishit in the Youth Lounge, for children in grades 5-8. Sushi will be served.

The KTYD event at Bogota Golf Center, 30 Cross Street, Bogota, for children in grades 5-7, will take place this Sunday, April 17. Drop-off is at 1:00pm and pick-up is at 3:00pm. E-mail Avi at alicht13@aol.com for reservations and cost information.

Dani Cohen, Jake Green, Mordechai Levie, David Stein and Avi Turk will speak on “My Year in Israel” at a Seudat Preida for children in grades 9-12 following Mincha on Tuesday, April 26, in the Youth Lounge.

There will be no youth groups on the first day of Pesach, but regular groups will resume on the second day at 9:30am. There will be regular groups on Shabbat Chol Hamoed and on the last days of Pesach.

There will be no Junior Congregation and no Teen Minyan on the first two days of Pesach. Both will take place on Shabbat Chol Hamoed and the last days of Pesach.

Torah Tots will take place at 10:45am on the second day of Pesach, Shabbat Chol Hamoed and on the last days of Yom Tov.

 

 

Keter Torah News

Schedule for Mechirat Chametz: Motzei Shabbat until 11:00pm and Sunday from 7:15–11:00am (except from 8:00-8:30am) and 5:30-7:25pm.

KT will host the Manhattan Jewish Experience Shabbaton on May 13-14. Volunteers are needed to house the MJE participants and to host them for Shabbat lunch. To volunteer, please e-mail Joy Sklar at joysklar@yahoo.com.
