Scholar in Residence

{     Rabbi David Stav, Rabbi of Shoham, member of the Board of Tzohar and co-founder of Yeshivat Petach Tikva, is our scholar in residence this Shabbat. His talks will address “Avraham and the Challenge of the Land of Israel.” Rabbi Stav will speak tonight, before Ma’ariv, and tomorrow afternoon, after Mincha. He will also give the Hashkama shiur on Shabbat morning.

Youth News

{     Children in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to the KTYD PJ movie night this Motzei Shabbat from 6:15-8:15pm. No reservations are needed and pizza will be served.

{     Children in grades 5-8 are invited for miniature golf, basketball and batting cages this Motzei Shabbat from 7:00-9:00pm. Drop off and pick up at Bogotá Golf Course, 30 Cross Street, Bogotá. No reservations are needed and pizza will be served.

{     On Motzei Shabbat, December 6, there will be Parent and Child Learning with Rabbi Elli Ausubel.

{     This year, the Teaneck Shuls fundraiser is for Tomchei Shabbos of Bergen County, which provides Shabbat meals to needy Jewish families in Bergen County. To donate, contact Shari Lindenbaum at 201-833-1950.

{     This Motzei Shabbat at 8:00pm, Bnai Yeshurun will present the film “The Rape of Europa.”

{     This Sunday at 9:30am, Rivkah Moriah, mother of one of the eight boys killed in the attack at Merkaz HaRav, will speak at the home of Beth & Ronnie Stern, 514 Maitland Avenue, Teaneck on “This is the Child I Prayed For: The Story of Avraham David, z”l.”
