{     Meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays, Torah in the AM offers a Navi Chavura studying Sefer Shoftim from 9:00-9:30am and an interactive, intermediate/advanced Gmara shiur studying the sixth Perek of Bava Metzia with Rabbi Menahem Meier from 9:30-10:30am

{     Thank you to the many people who have sent in their seat applications for the holidays. The committee is already hard at work making arrangements and trying to meet everyone’s needs. Those who have not sent in a form should do so, in order that we can accommodate your requests. Reservations received after Monday, August 25, will be assigned to the Beit Midrash or Beit Knesset based on availability.  Applications are available in the office and on the web at www.ketertorah.org .

 {     All obligations to the Shul must be paid or addressed before seats can be allocated. For special situations, contact Rabbi Baum or Howard; all matters will be dealt with confidentially.

{     Anyone interested in a Vatikin minyan, which would start at 6:10am on Rosh Hashana, should check the appropriate box on the order form and we will contact you with further information.

{     Keter Torah is proud to host High Holiday explanatory services again this year. Led by Rabbi & Mrs. Dan Coleman, this outreach program will provide attendees the opportunity to explore the significance of the High Holidays and the meaning behind the prayers. Children’s programs will also be available. Please tell your friends, family and colleagues about this wonderful opportunity. For information, call the Shul office.

Keter Torah News

{     Keter Torah is hosting an event this Thursday. Parking spaces will be available for Mincha / Ma’ariv, but if possible, please walk to Shul.

{     Shaimos drop off at Keter Torah will be on Sunday, September 21, from 7:00am-11:00am.

{     The next Carlebach style minyan will be on Friday, September 26.

{     Anyone aware of new families who have moved into the area should inform the Shul office so that we may welcome them into our community.

Youth News

{     Teen minyan resumes next Shabbat, August 30, at 9:15am in the Beit Midrash.

{     Summer youth groups for children 3 years old through second grade continue this Shabbat. Regular groups resume Shabbat, September 6.

Community News

{      Bergen County Sheriff Leo P. McGuire and members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit will give presentations on internet & cell phone safety, entitled “Who is in Your Home? What Your Children Know That You Should Also.” The event is co-sponsored by the RCBC and will take place Thursday, September 4, at 7:00pm at the Young Israel of Teaneck, 818 Perry Lane.
