The YU Keter Torah Summer Kollel is back!

Elementary, junior high, and high school aged boys are invited to come to

Keter Torah to learn with members of the Yeshiva University Keter Torah Summer Kollel. 

One-on-one learning opportunities with YU Kollel members are available Monday through

Thursday at 4:30-5:30pm, 5:30-6:30pm, and 8:00-9:00pm.

The YU Women’s Beit Midrash Youth Program offers girls one-on-one chavruta learning for

with a YU Beit Midrash Fellow on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm at Keter Torah.

Torah in the AM

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10:30am throughout the summer, Rabbi Menahem Meier presents an interactive, intermediate/advanced Gmara shiur studying the sixth Perek of Bava Metzia.

{     The YU Keter Torah Summer Kollel offers men the opportunity for one-one-one learning Monday through Thursday from 8:00pm – 10:00pm in our Beit Midrash. To arrange a chavruta contact Rabbi Leibtag at 347-463-7247, or ketertorahkollel@gmail.com .

{     The YU Summer Kollel offers the following additional daily minyanim at Keter Torah: Shacharit at 8:15am; Mincha Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 2:00pm, and Wednesday at 4:15pm.

{     During the summer months, please help by paying any balances due on your Keter Torah account. All obligations to the shul must be paid or addressed before High Holiday seats can be allocated; seat applications will be available shortly. For special situations, contact Rabbi Baum or Howard; all matters will be dealt with confidentially.

{     Women and girls, ages 10 and up, are invited to a weekly Tehillim Chaburah on Tuesdays at 8:30pm.This week’s meeting will be at the home Randi Wartelsky, 1390 Milford Terrace, Teaneck.

{     If you are aware of new families who have moved into the area, please inform the shul office so that we may welcome them into our community.

{     Summer youth groups for children 3 years old through second grade continue this Shabbat.

 

Community News

{     This Sunday after the 8:00am Shacharit at Rinat Yisrael, Rabbi Yehuda Gilad, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Maale Gilboa and the Rav of Kibbutz Lavi, will speak on “The Conversion Crisis in Israel – Theory and Practice.”

{     This Monday, July 14, after the 8:00pm Mincha at Bnai Yeshurun, Rabbi Yonasan Sacks will speak on “Issues in Arvei Pesachim.”

{     Mekimi presents the film “A Blessing in Disguise” for women and girls this Tuesday, July 15, at Beth Aaron. For more information contact Yocheved Mayo at etanmayo@juno.com .
