Torah in the AM

Meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00am to noon, Torah in the AM provides an opportunity

for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in shiurim and Chavruta study.

We thank Rabbi Menachem Meier for his efforts on behalf of this program.

 

Keter Torah News

{     Keter Torah is hosting an event this Thursday. Parking spaces will be available for Mincha / Ma’ariv, but if possible, please walk to Shul.

{     The next Carlebach style minyan will be on Friday, June 27, at 7:00pm.

{     Women and girls, ages 10 and up, are invited to a weekly Tehillim Chaburah on Tuesdays from 9:00-9:30pm.  This week’s meeting will be at the home of Gabi Altman, 727 Dearborn Street, Teaneck. 

{     To sponsor next week’s Kiddush honoring our graduating students, contact Daniel Seidman at seidmand@questdiagnostics.com.

{     Keter Torah is pleased to join with the Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future to host a summer Kollel program, beginning Monday, June 30.  Many youth learning options will be available.  For information contact Rabbi Leibtag at 347-463-7247, or ketertorahkollel@gmail.com .

 

ATARA News       

{     Children are encouraged to participate in birthday or bar/bat mitzvah ma’aser by donating a gift to Chai Lifeline for a less fortunate child.  For more information contact Chana Besterman, 201-385-6666.

 

Youth News

{     Next Shabbat, June 21 is youth Shabbat.  Plan to join us as our children daven, lain, and share Divrei Torah.

{     The KTYD will be hosting Sheva Brachot for Rivki & Motty on Monday, June 23, at 6:00pm. All children and parent sponsors are invited. For sponsorship information contact Dena Levie at dmlevie@aol.com or Zeeva Sklar at zeevasklar@aol.com . For reservations, e-mail debby@ketertorah.org by this Wednesday.  

 

Community News

{     AMIT Women is sponsoring a talk by Devorah Stechler on “T’chum Shabbat: Going the Distance” this Shabbat at 5:00pm at the home of Gail Stechler, 563 Winthrop Road, Teaneck.

{     This Sunday after the 8:00am Shacharit at Rinat Yisrael, Rabbi Menachem Leibtag will speak on “The Later Years of the Prophets – Why Bad Things Happen to Good Kings”.

{     This Sunday after the 8:00am Shacharit at Bnai Yeshurun, Rabbi Yonason Sacks will speak on “Kedushas Eretz Yisroel.”
