Keter Torah News

{     Keter Torah is hosting events this Sunday & Monday nights. Parking spaces will be available for Mincha/Ma’ariv, but, if possible, please walk to Shul.

{     There will be a Carlebach style minyan next Friday, April 4, at 7:10pm in the Beit Midrash.

{     Monday is the deadline to submit a Dvar Torah for the Keter Torah Youth Haggadah. For more information, contact Rabbi Leibtag at aleibtag@gmail.com .

 

Next Shabbat at Keter Torah

{     Rabbi Michael J. Broyde, Professor of Law at Emory University and Rabbi of the Young Israel of Toco Hills in Atlanta, will give two talks on Shabbat afternoon. At 5:40 pm he will speak on “Informing: Rat Fink or Good Citizen – Halachic Views on Mesira,” and after the 6:40pm Mincha, he will speak on “What in the World is Going on With Conversion in America? Some Thoughts on the New RCA Conversion Network.”

 

ATARA News

{     ATARA’s spring hat sale will take place this Sunday, March 30, from 7:30pm-9:30pm at the home of Dassi Silverman, 1126 Allesandrini Avenue, New Milford. For information call 201-836-3119.

Youth News

{     Next Shabbat, April 5, between Mincha and Ma’ariv, Ari Weisbrot will speak at the monthly Shabbat Mevarchim Seuda for children in grades 4-8. Sushi will be served.

 

Community News

{     Project S.A.R.A.H., an organization that provides services and aid to New Jersey Jewish families who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse, will hold its annual breakfast at Congregation Beth Sholom this Sunday, March 30. For more information visit www.projectsarah.org.

{     This Tuesday at 8:15pm at Bnai Yeshurun, Rabbi Ozer Glickman and Rabbi Zev Reichman, will speak at the RCBC community-wide evening of reflection on the tragic events at Yeshivat Mercaz Harav.
