Torah in the AM

{     Meeting Tuesday & Thursday, from 8:50am to noon at Keter Torah, Torah in the AM provides an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in shiurim and individual Chavruta study.

 

Keter Torah News

{     We look forward to welcoming back Shimon Craimer as our guest Ba’al Tefillah next Shabbat.  Shimon, the Chazzan at the Riverdale Jewish Center, will daven Friday night and Shabbat morning at the 9:00am minyan. Community News

{     On Saturday, December 15, at 8:45pm, Rabbi Abraham Israel, the director and founder of Hazon Yeshaya, an organization that supplies over 14,000 hot meals a day throughout Israel and that offers a variety of vocational programs, will speak at the home of Sima & Daniel Weingarten, 615 Winthrop Road, Teaneck.

{     Next Motzei Shabbat at 8:00pm at Rinat Israel, Professor Steven Fine, Professor of Jewish History at YU and Director of the YU Center for Israel Studies, will lecture on “When I was in Rome… There I Saw the Menorah: The Utensils of the Second Beit HaMikdash after the Fall of Jerusalem.”

{     On Monday, December 17, at 7:00pm, the Teaneck Council of The Jewish National Fund of America will honor Buzzy & Phyllis Green as 2007 recipients of the “Circle of Excellence” award. For further information, contact Esther Levie at 201-907-0954.
