I recently received a letter from the OU, informing me that the generous contributions from Keter Torah, combined with other funds, will enable 70-80 families from Sderot to go on a “retreat” during the first week in August. Let us hope that this experience will provide these families with the strength and clarity necessary to thrive in Sderot.

{ The YU Keter Torah Summer Kollel is back! Elementary, junior high and high school boys are invited to come to Keter Torah through August 3 to learn with members of the Yeshiva University Keter Torah Summer Kollel. One-on-one learning opportunities with YU Kollel members are available Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm-5:00 pm, 5:00pm-6:00 pm, and 8:00 pm-9:00pm. { There will be a showing of the movie “With All of Your Soul – the Story of Roi Klein”, with guest speaker Yechiel Leiter, this Sunday at 8:40pm at Beth Aaron. Major Klein was killed in a battle in the second Lebanon war, sacrificing himself to save his soldiers by leaping onto a hand grenade, and crying out “Shma Israel”.

Born and raised in the U.S., Michael Levin made Aliyah at 16. He was killed in combat last year in the Second Lebanon War and was buried on Tisha Be’Av.
